Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Operations Officer to join our team at Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society.

Overview

Responsibilities
  • Budget Planning and Control: Develop and implement budget plans, monitor expenses, and ensure effective financial control systems are in place.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Establish and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Funding and Grant Applications: Research and prepare funding and grant applications to support organizational goals.
  • Daily Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily financial operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Technology and Computer Skills: Utilize accounting software, MS Office, and other technology to streamline financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, organized, values and ethics, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
Benefits
  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
