We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team at SEA MAR Community Health Centers. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical and dental teams.
Key Responsibilities- Process patient information and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, responding to patient inquiries and concerns
- Manage patient registration and demographic information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with medical and dental records, scanning documents, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Collect patient payments and balances, maintaining a 100% collection rate
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Work collaboratively with the back office team to ensure seamless clinical operations and quality care
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting, preferably in a front office role
- Medical terminology and knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and computer software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- High School Diploma or GED required, with a preference for bilingual or multilingual candidates
