Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team at SEA MAR Community Health Centers. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical and dental teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient information and schedule appointments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to patient inquiries and concerns
  • Manage patient registration and demographic information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with medical and dental records, scanning documents, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Collect patient payments and balances, maintaining a 100% collection rate
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Work collaboratively with the back office team to ensure seamless clinical operations and quality care
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting, preferably in a front office role
  • Medical terminology and knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and computer software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with a preference for bilingual or multilingual candidates
