About the Role

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Global Anti-Money Laundering (GAML) team. As a key member of our Operations and Solutions Support (OSS) Team, you will play a critical role in managing business administration functions, providing first-line support for core GAML applications, and contributing to the enhancement of existing AML applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver business requirements and test planning, preparation, and execution on a broad range of projects varying in risk, size, and complexity.
  • Lead complex projects independently and successfully deliver on requirements, testing, testing artifacts, and obtain signoffs.
  • Expert knowledge of AML transaction monitoring and customer risk rating.
  • Ability to perform deep dive investigations and drive recommendations/findings.
  • Support, mentor, and provide guidance to junior-level Business Analysts and peers.
  • Strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen with the ability to engage senior audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to influence and manage a very diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Flexible and resilience to execute in an agile environment, including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Acutely attention to detail while moving at a fast pace.
  • Demonstrate analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office: Excel (including pivot tables, charts, and graphics) and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, or other automation tool, is an asset.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) or more years of related business analysis experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field, e.g., Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Science.
  • Hybrid work environment (2 days+ per week in the Toronto office).
