Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at MindJeweller Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in various settings, including their homes and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving.
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer activities.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain patient records and communicate with healthcare teams.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Assist with transportation and escort patients to appointments.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Work Environment:

The Healthcare Support Worker will work in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, healthcare facilities, and community centers.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Healthcare Support Worker will work a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
