Key Responsibilities- Schedule and Coordinate Laundry Operations
- Plan and manage the daily laundry schedule to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to prioritize and allocate laundry tasks.
- Supervise and Train Laundry Staff
- Supervise and train laundry staff on proper laundry procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards are met.
- Monitor Quality and Production
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all laundry items meet our high standards.
- Monitor production levels and adjust schedules as needed to meet demand.
- Requisition and Maintain Supplies
- Order and maintain an adequate supply of laundry materials, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping Team
- Work closely with housekeeping staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss laundry operations, address concerns, and share best practices.
- 1-2 years of experience in a laundry or housekeeping role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
