About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Dietary Aide to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count, weigh, and measure ingredients for assigned food preparation areas.
  • Portion out and serve food and beverages in the dining room, gather and replace supplies as required.
  • Load hot wagons and deliver food to resident neighborhoods.
  • Stock resident kitchens with paper products, snacks, beverages, and staple goods.
  • Prepare tables in dining areas before mealtimes, with items such as napkins, placemats, utensils, condiments, and beverages.
  • Prepare beverages and food items such as tea, coffee, and toast; assemble food items such as sandwiches and salads.
  • Wash, peel, and store vegetables and fruit.
  • Assist the Chef with portioning and service of meals for special and catered events.
  • Operate the dishwashing machine, stack clean dishes and utensils; set, clear, and clean dining tables.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping and damp mopping floors; sanitizing counter tops, sinks, machines, and equipment; spot washing walls and splash areas; and removing trash.
  • Perform related clerical duties such as answering the phone and documenting information on menu cards.
  • Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check.
  • Provide a negative TB Screening and immunization records; and,
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption for an accommodation based on a reason related to human rights.
