Job Title: Cashier

Gibson Convenience Store is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cashier to operate our cash registers, handle customer transactions, and provide exceptional customer service. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our store, interacting with customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, stock management, and other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a cash handling role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
