About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Armstrong Fluid Technology. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and support to our clients across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, ensuring a proactive and efficient response to their needs.
  • Handle customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring a positive outcome for both the customer and the business.
  • Provide timely responses to customer queries, documenting all correspondence via email.
  • Follow established policies and procedures to ensure high standards of service to customers and business objectives.
  • Proactively communicate with internal team members and other departments to provide value and solution selling initiatives to customers.
Reporting and Order Processing
  • Regularly maintain records of approved customer contracts to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Maintain customer data files to ensure accuracy of recorded information.
  • Process customer-change orders and notify the appropriate departments.
  • Initiate Sales Returns Goods process following established procedures.
Internal Communication
  • Liaise with the Finance department regarding new and/or blocked accounts, updating customers as necessary.
  • Liaise with internal and external sales personnel on a regular basis.
  • Work with the Procurement department to ascertain delivery timescales for product availability and updates.
Requirements
  • College certificate or diploma in Customer Service or Business, or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a corporate Customer Service role, providing value and solution selling.
  • Experience as a team leader within a Customer Service-oriented role is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience working in industrial/manufacturing settings is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the HVAC industry is considered an asset.
