Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Darwin Gadioma. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Supervise and care for children, engaging them in activities that promote social development and learning.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Establish a safe and healthy sleep routine for infants and children.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and departure.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to children, fostering a sense of security and trust.
  • Work collaboratively with parents to understand their child's needs and preferences.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
Work Environment:

As a Home Childcare Provider, you will work in a private home setting, providing childcare services to families in their own homes. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Language:

The primary language of communication will be English.Work Schedule:

The work schedule will be 30 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate changing family needs and schedules.
