Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wild Wing Mississauga. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Food Service Management
- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Staff Supervision and Training
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control and Budgeting
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means and making the most of our resources.
- Record Keeping and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and informing our decision-making.
- Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that they have the information they need to manage our kitchen operations effectively.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Work Environment
- 36 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- English language proficiency.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that they are able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
