We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at TechWest Inc. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using advanced mathematical calculations
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools, ensuring accurate and precise results
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, ensuring accurate measurements
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, ensuring conformance to specifications
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, ensuring efficient and accurate production
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a repetitive task environment
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
