Pentage Winery is seeking a skilled Vineyard Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our vineyard operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our grape harvest.

Job Summary

This is a physically demanding position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience working outdoors in various weather conditions and be comfortable with repetitive tasks.

The salary for this position is estimated at $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes. This includes manually removing suckers and water sprouts, tying and securing plants, weeding, and harvesting crops.

You will also be required to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods. Overtime may be required during peak harvest seasons.

Requirements
  • Experience an asset
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • On-site work only; no remote work options
  • Ability to work in a wet/damp, dusty, hot, and cold environment
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking
Work Environment

The Pentage Winery vineyard is located in a rural area, and you will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
