Job Summary

Smoky Cabinets is seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to precision-cut wood components
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Relocation costs not covered by employer
