At RS Sapphire Inc., we are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks. Your duties will include giving access to computer networks, reporting on system performance, and responding to user inquiries. You will also be responsible for consulting technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions, providing advice and training to users, and collecting and maintaining a problems and solutions log. Additionally, you will participate in the redesign of applications and software, supervise other technical support workers, and provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks
  • Give access to computer networks
  • Report on system performance
  • Respond to user inquiries

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
