About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Computer Technology Teacher to join our team at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. As a Computer Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Computer Technology courses to students in grades 9-12.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Computer Technology courses to students in grades 9-12, including Computer Technology, Grades 9 & 10 and Computer Technology, Grades 11 & 12.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic excellence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements
  • Must be certified and in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
  • Qualifications in Computer Technology, Grades 9 & 10 and/or Computer Technology, Grades 11 & 12.
  • Practicum reports for teacher evaluations and/or for experienced teachers, teacher performance appraisal(s).
  • Resume and Cover Letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources.
  • Two (2) Associate/Host Teacher references, or an alternate reference source (such as a Principal).
