Job Title: Computer Technology Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Computer Technology Teacher to join our team at the Toronto Catholic District School Board.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Technology to students in Grades 9 & 10 and/or Grades 11 & 12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Technology and be able to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computer Technology courses to students in Grades 9 & 10 and/or Grades 11 & 12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Computer Technology education

Requirements:

  • Must be certified, and in good standing, with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications in Computer Technology, Grades 9 & 10 and/or Computer Technology, Grades 11 & 12
  • Practicum reports for teacher evaluations and/or for experienced teachers, teacher performance appraisal(s)
  • Resume and Cover Letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources
  • Two (2) Associate/Host Teacher references, or an alternate reference source (such as a Principal)
