We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support our Store Managers in overseeing the day-to-day operation of our retail stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly when the Store Manager is not on shift.
You will collaborate closely with our Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience, setting a positive example for our store team members who rely on your ability to resolve less complex problems.
About the PersonThis role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail or healthcare. Optical industry experience is beneficial but not essential. We are looking for effective and caring leaders who are organized, able to think on their feet, and make good decisions that support the continued growth of our brand.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles involving sales.
- Experience supervising other workers and delivering on-site training to junior members of a team.
- Ability to demonstrate the skill of building meaningful and long-term relationships with customers.
- Collaborative and consultative teamwork and leadership style.
