General Dentistry Specialist

The General Dentistry Specialist will provide comprehensive dental care services to patients in a fast-paced community clinic environment. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Graduate Degree in Dentistry from a recognized university and be eligible for a license from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. Experience in removable prosthetics and pediatric dentistry is an asset.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provides input into the development of program policies and ensures implementation of policies and procedures in the dental clinic.
- Performs the duties of a team leader in a clinical setting, ensuring effective teamwork and efficient flow of patients.
- Monitors and performs universal precaution procedures for infection control in the dental office.
Qualifications:
A Graduate Degree in Dentistry from a recognized university and eligibility for a license from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario are essential qualifications for this role. Experience in removable prosthetics and pediatric dentistry is an asset, as is knowledge of Public Health dental programs. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required for success in this position.
