Job Summary
Modern Fabrication Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising workers and projects, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
About the Role
- The General Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring health and safety regulations are met, and coordinating activities.
- They will also be responsible for training staff, requisitioning materials, and establishing methods to meet work schedules.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Workers and Projects: Oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinate activities.
- Coordinate and Schedule Activities: Plan and organize tasks, set deadlines, and allocate resources.
- Train or Arrange for Training: Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching to employees.
- Requisition Materials and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a General Supervisor or related role.
- Degree equivalent to secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
