**Job Description**

">Tax Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Planning Expert to join our team. As a key member of our TREP team, you will be responsible for providing tax planning support to financial advisors across Canada.

Your primary objective will be to educate financial advisors on tax, retirement, and estate planning issues and concepts. You will develop creative articles to share with larger audiences on key initiatives and value-added propositions.

You will build relationships with sales teams and conduct training as needed on important industry concepts that would be beneficial to selling CI GAM products. Your role will involve collaborating with the TREP, Sales, and other CI GAM departments to gain and share technical knowledge and meet company objectives.

A post-secondary degree with a business or legal focus is also required. Bilingualism in French/English is an asset, as well as knowledge of the Canadian asset management industry.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong research, analytical, and project management skills. You should be able to convey complex technical material to financial advisors and investors effectively. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential, as is your ability to work with a remotely-located team.

The normal office environment requires an in-office presence of 4 days per week when not traveling. We offer competitive benefits, a supportive workplace, and opportunities for growth and development.
