About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Bookkeeper Specialist to join our team at MITTAL IMPEX. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, as well as preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Calculating fixed assets and depreciation, preparing tax returns, and reconciling accounts.
  • Preparing cheques for payroll, posting journal entries, and maintaining financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or equivalent experience in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
