About the Opportunity

CareRx is seeking a highly skilled Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician with CareRx, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of medication dispensing, while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with pharmacy teams to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
  • Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures.
  • Consult with pharmacy management team on unresolved issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to seniors homes and retirement communities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized resident health records.
  • Fulfill provincial and federal laws, regulations, and standards governing pharmacy practice.
  • Participate in training and support for new team members.
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education and corporate updates.

Requirements

  • Registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPhT).
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong partnerships with healthcare teams.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • High level of fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Kroll software.
  • Experience with Med e-care.
  • Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC).
  • Understanding of provincial regulations governing LTC homes and Retirement Communities.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
