The Safety Solutions Specialist is a critical role at Chandos Construction Inc, responsible for ensuring the health and safety of field workers and contributing to the company's pursuit of safety excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist sites in identifying potential hazards and recommend effective solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations and Chandos' safety standards.
- Collaborate with site teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety performance and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain safety training programs for field workers.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field, such as Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction safety, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OH&S regulations and industry best practices.
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 based on experience and education.
