Job Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in need. As a Community Support Worker - Youth, you will provide vital outreach services and support to help young people overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of each youth.
  2. Develop individualized plans to address these needs and promote stability and growth.
  3. Work collaboratively with community partners to ensure seamless access to services and support.
  4. Provide crisis intervention and support to youth in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  5. Document and report on all interactions and interventions, maintaining accurate records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years' experience working with at-risk youth.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification and Broad Record Check required.
  • Valid driver's license, car, and liability insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work regular shifts, including evenings and weekends.
