Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist - Critical Care to join our team at Advanced Respiratory Care Network. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide critical care services to patients with respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
About the Role:
As a Respiratory Care Specialist - Critical Care, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, evaluating patient progress, and implementing an interdisciplinary plan of care. You will also examine patients to assess their general physical condition, interpret medical test results, and order diagnostic tests. Additionally, you will participate in home care programs for chronic respiratory patients and operate and monitor respiratory equipment to administer treatments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Certificate of Registry from the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists - R.R.T. and have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar position. You should also have excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Furthermore, you must be physically demanding, stand for extended periods, and have manual dexterity.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on national averages for a Respiratory Care Specialist - Critical Care in Canada.
