Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advanced Respiratory Care Network.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Examine patients to assess their general physical condition and identify potential respiratory issues.
  • Implement interdisciplinary plans of care to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
  • Interpret medical test results and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Participate in home care programs for chronic respiratory patients and provide education on disease management.
  • Operate and monitor respiratory equipment to administer treatments and ensure patient safety.
  • Advise patients on health care and provide information on disease management and treatment options.
  • Ensure infection control and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate, and test equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Certificate of Registry from the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists - R.R.T.
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
