About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Director to join our team at Samdesk, a global disruption monitoring tool that delivers real-time crisis alerts powered by AI. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing a multifaceted lifecycle marketing strategy that drives business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of the market, our competition, customers, industry pain points, and how our solutions address those pain points.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and propose a comprehensive marketing strategy to maximize return on investment, with a focus on brand awareness, demand generation, and salesforce enablement.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan, manage, and execute marketing campaigns, programs, and initiatives to generate leads, opportunities, and revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the work of external marketing providers and lead the development of an in-house marketing team to effectively drive business objectives.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure the effectiveness of all campaigns and activities to guide strategy and develop reports.
Requirements
  • Marketing Experience: 10+ years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility and a focus on B2B.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior marketing management experience in a successful, rapidly scaling B2B start-up environment.
  • Brand Building: A minimum of 2 years of experience building new B2B brands by leveraging tradeshows, PR, industry thought leadership, and other tactics.
  • Demand Generation: A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting B2B Sales teams with demand generation, including delivering email nurture campaigns, outbound digital campaigns, webinars, and other tactics.
  • Data-Driven Approach: A data and process-driven approach to marketing, including the ability to develop and track key KPIs to optimize marketing investment.
  • Marketing Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets, setting priorities, and articulating a clear and concise marketing strategy.
