Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare Systems Manager to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage multiple projects, teams, and initiatives that drive innovation and excellence in healthcare systems.

The successful candidate will have 8 years of progressive management experience in a large, geographically dispersed digital services organization specializing in providing clinical, business, infrastructure, and/or enterprise architecture solutions and supports. Experience in managing client services focused on maintaining complex computer systems and information infrastructure in a shared services environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion, including scope, risk, change, issue, schedule, cost, quality, and communication.
  • Communicate requirements for projects and manage the introduction of changes, upgrades, or new applications/technology platforms to the operating environment.
  • Plan, recommend procurement or development, deliver assigned projects, and ensure ongoing maintenance of assigned technologies within the enterprise architecture and required standards.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated mid-level leadership capabilities with the ability to influence mid and senior management, key stakeholders, and collaborate with vendors on outsourced services.
  • Post-secondary degree in technology, computer science, engineering, or digital health/clinical informatics from an accredited educational institution.
