About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Scotian Gold Cooperative Limited. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Picking and Stocking: Pick orders and stock products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Hazardous Products Handling: Handle and store hazardous products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Work Setting: Work in a warehouse setting with a focus on inventory management and customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
