Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Scotian Gold Cooperative Limited. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Pick orders and stock
  • Weigh materials and goods
  • Make labels and attach to goods
  • Wrap goods
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods
  • Store cargo and materials
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Hazardous products handling and storage

Requirements:

  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
