Job Title: Farm Worker

Port Hill Farm Inc is seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farm operations, including animal care, crop maintenance, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Handle animals with care and attention to their well-being
  • Milk goats by hand or using machines, and monitor animal health
  • Perform livestock feeding and treat health issues as needed
  • Feed and tend to animals, and clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
  • Perform general farm duties as assigned by management
Work Environment:

The work environment is rural, with a focus on dairy and poultry production. The farm is located in a rural area, and room and board are provided. The work site is dusty, noisy, and wet/damp at times, and all-weather conditions are common.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a variety of weather conditions
