Job Title: Grounds Maintainer

Greenbrier Landscaping Inc. is seeking a reliable and physically fit Grounds Maintainer to join our team. As a Grounds Maintainer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and safety of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and rototillers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed of your activities.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
