Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process for goods imported directly from international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute supply plans based on demand forecasts and inventory policies.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods from international suppliers.
  • Coordinate international shipping, customs clearance, and transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with international suppliers and negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs associated with excess inventory or stockouts.
  • Implement strategies for efficient warehousing and distribution of imported goods.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, import/export laws, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a supply chain management and analysis role.
  • Ability to develop and improve business processes, evaluate, and analyze financial and operational viability.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills required, with exceptional modeling skills in Excel.
  • Experience and knowledge of international shipping documentation and letters of credit.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
Assets:
  • Experience at a non-asset-based transportation logistics company preferred.
  • Experience within a consumer goods/retailer organization is an asset.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
