Electrotechnician

At eTeam Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrotechnician to join our team. As an Electrotechnician, you will play a critical role in supporting our plant's various production lines, ensuring that they meet the required standards of quality and quantity.
Key Responsibilities:- Line Troubleshooting: Intervene to restart a line in problem following a trouble, breakage, malfunction or unplanned shutdown.
- Modification, Improvement and Addition of Equipment: Perform planned work resulting from engineering or continuous improvement activities on various production equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Check and inspect electrical equipment to prevent defects and meet quality standards.
- Communication: Communicate any changes made or complications encountered to the teams responsible for the impacted departments.
- Assistance: Assist departmental electrical technicians in the manual updating of plans, programs and electrical drawings impacted by a change made.
- Time Entry: Proceed to the entry of time and details of operations in the maintenance software (SAP & Meta).
- Daily Meetings: Participate in the daily meetings of the last 24 hours (electrical department).
- Action Plan: Develop an action plan for recurring issues and participate in DMAIC.
- Shift End: Ensure that an action plan has been put in place before leaving at the end of the shift if a problem is not resolved.
- D.E.C. college diploma in electrical engineering.
- Licence C (Non-construction electrician's competency card).
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation's automation product suites: Control Logix, Kinetix, Panel View, Power Flex.
- Knowledge of production systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Effective oral and written communication in French.
- Knowledge of SAP maintenance management software.
- Knowledge of ABB industrial robots.
- Knowledge of Cognex industrial cameras.
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 programmable logic controllers.
- Knowledge of TI (Texas Instrument) programmable logic controllers.
- Knowledge of equipment in the food sector.
- Bilingualism (English).
