Store Operations Supervisor

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the management of a major retail operation, ensuring good customer service, supervising staff, and maintaining good staff morale. You will also be involved in controlling stock levels, stock variances, and ensuring acceptable levels of security in the store.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in the management of the store, including supervising staff and maintaining good staff morale.
- Ensure good customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Control stock levels and stock variances, and ensure acceptable levels of security in the store.
- Participate in training staff, scheduling assignments, and participating in all store duties.
- May be involved in labor relations matters.
- Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- A minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a customer-facing, service-oriented environment.
- Preference may be given to those candidates with experience working in a retail or hospitality environment, or experience in an environment with annual sales in excess of $1 million.
