About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Peeple Inc. in Vancouver. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of our accounting firm, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.
  • Technology and Process Integration/Implementation: Manage the transition of new processes and technology that will improve client services.
  • Team Management: Manage and support accountants to ensure they are working within established processes and managing client outflows in alignment with company standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the operational budget, monitoring expenses and resource allocation.
  • Client Relations: Collaborate with client-facing teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and address client needs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Analyze operational performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in operations management within an accounting, legal, or financial services environment.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices will be beneficial.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
