Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Technology Project Manager to join our team at Maarut Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in leading and managing complex technology projects from inception to delivery.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting client expectations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including I&IT specialists, business planners, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, provide regular updates, and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Manage and motivate project teams, providing guidance on audio-visual and information technology best practices, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to senior management as necessary.
  • Coordinate procurement activities, negotiate contracts, and administer agreements with vendors and external service providers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners, fostering a culture of trust and open communication.
  • Provide specialized advice and expertise on technology-related matters, supporting business cases and submissions to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards, principles, and best practices, validating vendor advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A proven track record in project management, with experience in concurrent audio-visual and I&IT projects, preferably in a large-scale, technically complex environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide project staff, teams, and external service providers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to resolve problems, design presentations, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operations management, security, and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess client needs, lead projects, and provide expert advice.
  • Familiarity with software development platforms, technical standards, and best practices, with the ability to evaluate and define project management requirements.
  • Procurement knowledge and skills to acquire and negotiate goods and services, with expertise in administering contractual agreements.
  • Working knowledge of I&IT and computer protocols, frameworks specific to the program system(s) currently in use, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project software packages.
