About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and integrate new technologies specific to cloud computing to prepare for the technological evolution of our flight simulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy innovative software solutions using the latest DevOps and container technologies
  • Integrate new diagnostic, monitoring, and deployment solutions into our simulation products
  • Create, modify, and harmonize scripts or software code to automate manual steps
  • Adapt interfaces to support new tools and environments
  • Contribute to the evolution of our innovative high-tech corporate culture

Requirements:

  • Experience in software development on Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of software integration and source control tools (e.g. Github)
  • Good sense of organization and planning
  • Dynamic, results-oriented person with strong team spirit and initiative
  • Automation tools such as MDT, PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code/IaC (an asset)
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Bilingual (French and English) (an asset)

Preferred Education:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate/masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
