About the Role

At Equitable Life of Canada, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Enterprise Business Solutions Analyst to join our Enterprise Content Management IT team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and analytical individual who is passionate about how technology drives business. As a Senior Enterprise Business Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for both business and technical analysis, focused on bringing efficiency and business value to various business teams.

You will also lead the delivery of Non-Discretionary Production Support Incident Resolution, and management of incoming Discretionary Enhancement Requests supporting Equitable capture, imaging and workflow applications across the Enterprise of business teams (Individual, Group, S&R and Corporate).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a schedule of key enhancement initiatives and implementations.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand overall priorities across the line of business enhancement requests.
  • Request Management responsibilities include partnering with business leaders, managing a schedule of key enhancement initiatives, ensuring self-service reporting of all enhancement request work, and soliciting pertinent information regarding a request for the purposes of assessing risks associated to the release or change.
  • Project Delivery responsibilities include providing systems analysis, problem solving, translating business requirements into functional solution specifications, conducting reviews and providing feedback, performing quality assurance testing, and defect management.
  • Production Support responsibilities include driving the daily production support operations and activities for the ECM support team.
  • Team Lead responsibilities include providing technical, task and functional direction to the production support analysts, mentoring operational team members for growth and development, contributing to performance assessments of team members, actively participating in interviewing and onboarding, and participating in the Business Systems Analysis enterprise community of practice.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Business Systems Analyst role.
  • Strong to expert knowledge and experience writing functional requirements, use cases and process flows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to lead the delivery of complex solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid operational support leadership skills, including partnering with ECM IT team in troubleshooting system health and communicating effectively with business and other IT partners to define and resolve issues.
  • Strong to expert knowledge and experience with Enterprise Workflow, case and queue management or automation solutions.
  • Outstanding communications (written, verbal, presentation) and negotiation skills and experience with conveying complex, technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Expert interpersonal skills in order to effectively mentor and coach staff with respect to IT service issues, technologies, processes and considerations.
  • Experience with resource management as it pertains to scheduling, project execution and daily operations.
  • An outstanding team player, focused on customer service excellence, technical execution, diligence to the process, and doing the right thing.
  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment. Strong interpersonal and partnership building skills; can reach out and engage a variety of individuals.
  • Expert knowledge of and experience with ITIL IT service management processes.
  • In-depth understanding of application infrastructure, database and technical platforms.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year depending on experience.
