We're seeking a skilled Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Westland Insurance. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for promoting and educating clients on insurance products, taking ownership of client relationships, and helping us grow our presence and profile in the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and educate clients on insurance products and services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our commercial insurance business
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients
Requirements:
- Insurance broker license or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided)
- 2-3 years of commercial and/or personal lines insurance experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
