Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to join Great Canadian Entertainment as a Racing Clocker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for timing horses during their morning workouts.

Responsibilities
  • Time horses accurately and efficiently
  • Identify horses prior to workouts
  • Record times and other required information
  • Liaise with horsemen, staff, and officials
  • Perform related clerical duties
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Knowledge of thoroughbred horse racing operations and regulations an asset
  • Physical ability to perform duties (good eyesight, manual dexterity)
  • Ability to work in close proximity to horses, if required
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy an asset
  • Honesty and ability to work effectively without direct supervision
  • Criminal and credit record check by GPEB - Racing
Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated annual salary of $55,000-$65,000 based on experience and qualifications.
