About the Role
This full-time position is located in Slave Lake, Alberta, with location negotiable within the central area of the North Zone. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan, integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan
- Integrate clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures
- Utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree
- Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Additional Required Qualifications
- CNA Certification in Palliative Care
- McMasters Case Management Education
- Meditech and Connect Care Trained
- Previous experience in leadership role
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $123,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a Remote Retention Allowance of up to $3,000 per year.
