About the Role

At Smart TechLink Solutions Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data processing systems using PySpark and Python.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our business, leveraging your expertise in PySpark and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data engineering solutions with other systems.
  • Design and implement data pipelines that are scalable, efficient, and secure.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our data engineering capabilities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering solutions using PySpark and Python.
  • Strong SQL development experience and ability to write efficient queries.
  • Experience working in a cloud environment and ability to design scalable systems.
  • Ability to create cohesive technology solutions using microservices and APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
