Culinary Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2830623 Ontario Ltd. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Operations Management
- Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet business demands.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Culinary Expertise
- Have knowledge of various culinary genres and be able to prepare and present food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure high-quality presentation.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit budgets and cost estimates to inform business decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language
- Fluent in English.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The work site environment is hot, and the work setting is a restaurant.
