Calgary, Alberta, Canada Young Fellas Construction Ltd Full time

We are seeking a skilled Construction Maintenance Worker to join our team at Young Fellas Construction Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • General Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Additional Tasks: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
