Audit Manager

Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to provide support to the Manager Internal Audit and lead teams in internal audit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal auditing and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in department planning sessions to assist in developing a flexible audit plan.
- Effectively and efficiently perform assigned work, including leading an audit team as the Auditor-In-Charge (AIC) to manage and complete assigned projects.
- Prepare individual work programs for routine assignments and assist in the preparation of work programs in more complex engagements.
- Complete assigned work independently under the supervision of Manager or Director for more complex assignments.
- Communicate effectively with the team throughout the work.
- Analyze data in routine situations and prepare files and raise exceptions and provide value-added recommendations.
- Provide input into reports and manage his/her own time within the approved budget.
- Actively participate in team discussions, providing feedback to others within the group.
- Build and maintain networks with managers and employees.
- Maintain currency in professional standards (IIA, CIA, ISACA, etc.) and apply these standards in everyday interaction with clients and in the performance of work.
- Maintain technical skills and perform other administrative tasks as assigned in support of the overall department objectives.
Requirements:
- Certified Internal Auditor designation (CIA) is required.
- Additional designations such as CPA or CISA are beneficial.
- Excellent report writing and the ability to present to all levels within the organization.
- Previous experience leading teams.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
