Job Summary
The Service Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department and service lot. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain the service parking lot, ensuring vehicles are properly aligned and accessible.
- Inspect vehicles for damage and verify accessories listed on the invoice, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Transport clients to and from destinations using the dealership's shuttle service, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
- Prepare vehicles for delivery and pick up, washing and cleaning as required.
- Catalogue and store keys, maintaining a secure and organized system.
- Conduct daily inspections of the lot to ensure unlocked vehicles and security measures are in place.
- Maintain the lot's appearance, ensuring it is free from litter and debris, and cleaning and removing garbage as required.
- Ensure walkway accessibility in inclement weather, prioritizing safety and customer convenience.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including shuttle driver duties, valet parking, and assisting Sales Lot Attendants as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
- Clear Driver's Abstract.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Manual transmission driving experience.
