Punjabi Chaap Corner is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate special events and plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Determine the size of food portions and costs, and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, and inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and order supplies and equipment.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with 30 hours per week.
- Fluency in English language.
