About the Role:


The Financial Portfolio Manager will play a key role in supporting the General Real Estate Portfolio (GREP) Construction Projects at Infrastructure Ontario.


This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.


Responsibilities:



  • Prepare financial reporting and analysis for GREP finance group, project managers, client ministries, and Provincial central agencies
  • Review project charter and relevant documentation to identify capitalization requirements
  • Ensure compliance with project contractual terms and conditions
  • Analyze monthly project value of work to budget and cost
  • Prepare monthly accounting entries and accruals for expenses and revenue by project
  • Review project recoveries for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure adherence to professional accounting standards
  • Support reconciliation and analysis of key balance sheet items
  • Prepare reports and variance analysis for Project Managers, Ministry clients, and financial reports

Requirements:



  • Experience in project accounting, construction, real estate, or large-scale property management
  • CPA designation or actively pursuing designation considered an asset
  • Detailed knowledge of accounting principles, including PSAB
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
  • Proficiency in ERP Software, Yardi Voyager, or similar, and Project Management Software, Kahua or similar

Compensation:


$62,600 - $93,900 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
