Credit Analysis Manager

Societe Generale Assurances is seeking a highly skilled Credit Analysis Manager to join our Global Banking and Advisory team in Montreal, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the credit approval process for GLBA in the Americas, ensuring timely completion of credit decisions and maintaining a high level of governance and risk management.
Responsibilities- Manage the credit approval process for GLBA in the Americas, including coordination with non-GLBA business lines and stakeholders.
- Organize and coordinate Credit Committees for GLBA Management as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of credit approval process for Senior Management, in accordance with global and local governances.
- Coordinate with global and local teams for pre-requisites to credit decisions.
- Ensure audit trail of credit approval process.
- Other contributions include providing support to GLBA staff on approval process, contributing to global exposure monitoring requests, and communicating ad-hoc governance processes.
- 10 years of credit analysis experience.
- Professional credit risk knowledge.
- Coordination/organization skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, organize time, manage tight deadlines, and identify and accommodate shifting priorities with little notice.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal or no supervision.
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with professionals at all levels.
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
